After being a high school anatomy and physiology teacher, as well as a coach for several years, I decided to go back to massage school to learn more about the body and help my student athletes. I graduated from New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Arts in 2006. After graduating, I began my career as a massage therapist. In 2016, I will graduate as a physical therapy assistant to help bolster my career in massage and to help my clients with injuries and/or recovery. I believe in massage as preventative care for everybody. I feel massage helps with stress reduction, which heals the body naturally and increases overall well being. I specialize in the following techniques: Swedish, Neuromuscular/Deep tissue, and Lymphatic Drainage. I incorporate many techniques to increase range of motion (i.e. stretching), and each massage is designed to fit my client’s needs. I also help expecting moms and offer prenatal massage.
