A native Mainer, I am a Board Certified Massage Therapist by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, as well as Licensed by the State of Maine.
While growing up in Portland, Maine, I always dreamed of becoming a massage therapist. I enjoy working with all types of people with a goal of improving their wellness through body work. I provide different modalities of massage, from Relaxation, to Deep Tissue Therapy, focusing on my client’s individual needs.
In 2012, I graduated from the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro, Maine, with a concentration in Swedish Massage and Sports Massage. Then in 2013, I graduated from the Acadia School of Massage in Bar Harbor, Maine, with a certification in Hot Stone Massage.
I continue to further my education annually through seminars and conferences to better meet the diverse needs of my clients. In addition, I also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, with a minor in Athletic Leadership, in 2011 from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. I was recruited for long-distance running and attended Clemson on a scholarship to compete in cross-country and track. During my time as a Division I athlete, I earned a Varsity Letter and competed in many ACC Championships.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking with my husband, Nick. We have traveled to many National Parks throughout the country to take part in these activities.
